We've Missed You!
The long-awaited addition to the Berkey fIlter family has arrived. Berkey Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ filter elements are NSF/ANSI 42 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 certified, and have been tested by third-party, accredited labs to remove or reduce a broad array of typical waterborne contaminants found in U.S. and global municipal water supplies.

Filters Out Typical Contaminants Found in U.S. and Global Municipal Water Supplies
Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filter Elements have been tested by independent third-party labs to remove or reduce a broad array of typical waterborne contaminants found in U.S. and global municipal water supplies, including: perfluorinated “forever chemicals” (PFAS, PFOA & PFOS), synthetic organic compounds—industrial and agricultural chemicals (SOCs), heavy metals, pharmaceuticals, volatile organic contaminants (VOCs), other waterborne contaminants, bad odors and tastes and more. Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filter Elements do not remove essential healthy minerals like magnesium and calcium in the water, and do not alter the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Therefore, the TDS levels remain unchanged.

Set Up Filters Faster with Included PrimeEasy™ Universal Primer
The included PrimeEasy™ Universal Primer stretches and adapts to most faucet heads and spigots to ensure a smoother, more efficient priming experience by giving you a sealed, leak-resistant connection when priming your filter. Priming is a necessary set-up step that uses running water from your faucet or spigot to flush process dust from the filters before their first use and also displaces air out of the elements’ pores—ensuring that water can flow freely. The priming process is recommended to be performed when using the filter for the first time or after a long period of not being used.

NSF/ANSI 42 (Aesthetic Effects) and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 (Lead) Certification
Phoenix Gravity New Millennium Edition™ Filter Elements are certified to NSF/ANSI standard 42 to reduce non-health-related contaminants, i.e. aesthetic impurities such as chlorine, chloramines, and particulates that affect taste and odor. They are also certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 372—reduction of lead contaminants.NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 is consistent with the UnitedStates Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and its lead-freeplumbing requirements, as well as the requirements of individualU.S. states (the “CAN” designation represents “Canada”, with Health Canada working with NSF and ANSI to develop these standards for products that come into contact with drinking water).
